The project is being implemented in Usilampatti, Tirumangalam, Thirupparankundram, Chellampatti and Vadipatti blocks of Madurai district since 2007.

The project was initialized with a focus on ensuring social and economical upliftment of rural women. The project area includes Chellampatti, Vadipatti, Thirupparankundram, Melur and Kottampatti in Madurai district.

Emancipation and Empowerment of the sexually exploited communities of female sex workers and transgender, in Madurai and Theni Districts.

To reduce the incidence of Vitamin A deficiency among the community, especially the children and to promote the overall health through prevention education and the precautionary steps.

The project works in Chellampatti and Vadipatti blocks of Madurai District. The project functions with a goal of bringing down the incidence of female infanticide at Chellampatti Block in Madurai District
