Having been officially registered under the indian Trust Act. on 26th August 1987, and the organization is eligible to receive foreign grants under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) 1986, and exempted from income tax under section 80G of the Income Tax Act.
Battling against HIV/AIDS through capacity building programs for local health federations among young adolescents mainly MSM & children of Female Sex Workers in Madurai & Tirunelveli districts, Tamilnadu state, India
To bring down the incidence of STD/ HIV/ AIDS among FSWs, IDUs & MSMs groups through comprehensive prevention and care & support by innovative and multi-pronged approach for enhancing the states’ response to halt and reverse the HIV/AIDS epidemic”.
The project works with female sex workers, their spouses and their clients. The project identifies women engaged in sex work and works to raise their standard of living by promoting behavior change
This project focuses the children in the rural areas and is being implemented since 2001 with the aim of “helping female children in their education and the other basic requirements”.
