DLCC – MSM Campaign Programme :

Goal of the campaign

  • To reach 12,000 mapped MSM community with risk perception, prevention & treatment seeking messages.
  • To reach out to 2,00,000 clients of Male Sex Workers in hotspots with risk perception and condom messages.
  • To reach 2,000 Health Care Providers at service delivery points with key stigma messages.

Objectives of the campaign

  • To increase knowledge on correct modes of transmission from 68% to 90%.
  • To increase condom usage across partner types from 88% to 98%.
  • To increase levels of risk perception from 42% to 85%.
  • To increase voluntary testing from 62% to 85%.
  • To increase exposure to IPC from 82% to 98%.
  • To decrease self stigma levels from 16% to 2%.
  • To decrease stigma in availing services from 11% to 0.
